Burley beat Ringwood to win the inaugural New Forest Midweek Cricket League in an exciting finish on September 20.
Ellingham came up with the idea to provide some competitive cricket for clubs in the west of the New Forest after the Hampshire leagues were cancelled due to the coronavirus.
Hyde also took part with each team playing each other twice and the top two clubs contesting a final, which was staged at Ellingham on a Sunday due to rain delays earlier in the season and shorter evenings.
Burley racked up what looked to be a competitive 153 but Ringwood appeared to be cruising to a victory with their star South African retiring. Poor fielding and five no balls took Ringwood to the edge of victory but Callum Preedy-Maher came on to bowl at the end and conceded a mere three runs in two overs of death bowling to take Burley home by five runs.
