Ferndown Wayfarers v Burley Cricket Club U15 on Tue 16 May 2017 at 18:00
Burley Cricket Club Lost by 7 wickets

Match report After the euphoria of a memorable win on their debut East Dorset League fixture, Burley's U15 came crashing down to earth at title favorites Ferndown.
With players stuck in bad traffic, Burley were forced to bat first and opener Dany de Wet batted with three different players in the first over as Ferndown’s Arjun Yanti-Smith produced a devastating opening over and claimed a hat-trick.
Playing against opponents better suited to a higher league, Burley looked to be heading for a dismal trashing on a greasy grass pitch. Instead, Jack Hughes (15) and Jonny Wakefield (6) provided some defence, while Nathan Howson bravely refused to give up his wicket.
Burley took an early wicket sending Connor Hanlon back to the pavilion, and Sam Howson and Wakefield both proved economical in the face of imminent defeat but Ferndown eased home.
