Burley Cricket Club U15 v Verwood II on Tue 04 Jul 2017 at 18:15
Burley Cricket Club Lost by 29 runs

Match report Burley U15 finished their league season in a valiant defeat to a strong Verwood B side featuring a number of representative players
Home captain Scott Menary won the toss and opted to bat first and his counterpart Archie Musselwhite was soon sent back to the pavilion after being bowled by Toby Fowler.
Marc Bryant proved harder to unset and carefully assembled an innings that, though only including a single boundary in 11 overs, was marked out by careful shot-playing. After Bryant retired on 35, Burley's most economical bowler Menary, who conceded just 8 runs in his two overs, accounted for Ben Phelps and Sam Howson sent down a fine ball that knocked out Tom Prince's bails.
Howson then helped onto a catch in the final over to remove Alex Bennet but Verwood had taken advantage of Burley's field being in too tight to run up 128 runs.
That looked a big score after Burley lost openers Ollie Fitch (4) and Howson early on but 11-year-old Ed Wooster put in a superb showing with some excellent strokes to run up 25 runs including 5 boundaries.
Fowler (18 not out) upped the run-rate with Danny de Wet (5) and Jonny Wakefield (3) but the run-rate proved beyond Burley.
