Match report The rain ended Burley's chance of a third win on the bounce against Wessex Pilgrims on the Green. Burley won the toss and after opting to bat Tarun Vemuri (30) quickly got stuck into the visitors, hitting five boundaries before looking for a single. Wessex Pilgrims persisted with youngster B Harding, who came good, removing both Burley openers. A late middle order collapse left Burley on 125-7 but Rishi Katakam (20) and Obaid Iqbal (8) were unbeaten and there was lower order runs to come in Simon Webster and Mick Arnold but the rain brought both sides off after 21 overs and a return proved impossible.
